Terms and Conditions

Loving Memories Keepsakes LLC is a business run by a single person (Brittany Barritt) who takes pride in her business and guaranteeing quality and craftsmanship to each piece produced. As such, the following are conditions to protect myself and my business.

Please read all terms and conditions carefully BEFORE placing an order. Once an order is placed it is implied that the terms and conditions have been read and agreed upon by both parties.

All work is completed in a first arrived, first served basis. Turnaround time is dependent on many factors including holidays, weather, availability of jewelry and molds and turnaround time by their manufacturers. Time begins when your inclusion is received. 

It is the responsibility of the buyer to insure all packages containing articles of inclusion if they so choose. Finished pieces will come with a tracking number will be insured. Loving Memories Keepsakes LLC is released legally from any and all liability in case of damaged, lost or stolen property while in my possession or by mail. Please ensure your shipping address provided at checkout is up to date as it cannot be changed once given.

Loving Memories Keepsakes LLC crafts handmade jewelry and keepsake items, meaning no two items will ever be exactly identical. With these items being handmade it is important to note that small imperfections may exist including but not limited to: air bubbles, dust particles, color variations, uneven stones or settings, indents, etc. Cremation ash is often chunky and will likely be left that way unless otherwise indicated. Preserved breast milk is a powder substance and can appear with small chunked pieces within the stone. These are not considered imperfections but merely the nature of my work and will not be remade. 

Brittany takes great pride in getting to know each client and working to develop a product based on information gathered from each client. If a client is dissatisfied with the appearance of their keepsake item, there will be a one time 3 day window after delivery to contact Loving Memories Keepsakes LLC to discuss recreating the inclusion piece of the keepsake at a modified cost. If a ring was part of your keepsake, the setting will remain the same unless it arrives damaged. It will again be responsibility of the receiving client to pay for and insure the item for return shipping. Returns will not be made after 3 days with the exceptions of repairs.

Changing ring sizing shall not be completed 24 hours after placing an order. Be certain that the sizing information you provided upon ordering is correct the first time. Settings are not kept in stock but rather ordered individually upon receiving client orders and can not be changed after the 24 hour time period. 

Inclusion and keepsake jewelry is crafted with high quality resin. It is the responsibility of the client to care for and routinely inspect the keepsakes for any loose or damaged stones. Care instructions will be sent with each package and can also be found on my website or Facebook page. It is important to keep your piece away from heat, UV rays, chemicals, soaps, lotions and water/moisture. Loving Memories Keepsakes LLC is not held responsible for these types of damages. 

Any repairs needing made should be discussed with and only done by Loving Memories Keepsakes LLC or an agreed upon third party  at cost to the client for return shipping and insurance if you choose. Loving Memories Keepsakes LLC is not held responsible for any damages or discoloration done if serviced elsewhere. This includes resizing. Normal wear and tear on a keepsake item is expected over time including small scratches to the metal or resin stone. Loving Memories Keepsakes LLC is not held responsible for these minor changes to the appearance of keepsakes but MAY offer paid services to renew the appearance if applicable.

Loving Memories Keepsakes LLC does not offer full refunds or cancellations of any kind. Each piece takes hours of research, work and materials to craft and create. A partial refund may be offered only at the discretion of Brittany Barritt and Loving Memories Keepsakes LLC and on an individual basis where all other avenues have been explored and only in extreme circumstances. 

Loving Memories Keepsakes LLC is not held responsible for allergic reactions to metals or materials used and is released from legal obligation to cover any medical costs incurred. Items will not be replaced should a reaction occur.
