How much of my inclusion (breast milk, ash, etc) do I need to send?
I never ever want you to send the last of something to me because if something got lost in the mail or otherwise destroyed I would be devastated for you!!
Here is an outline of minimum amounts PER ITEM ORDERED to craft your keepsake jewelry:
Breast milk/Formula/Milk Substitute: 1 tablespoon per piece. Any extra will be discarded unless otherwise discussed. Breast milk can be years old, freshly expressed, frozen, sat on the counter overnight, high lipase, etc and can still be used.
Cremation Ash: 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon maximum.
Hair/Fur: Minimum 1-2" long strands. Preferably 10 or more strands but can use what you have. The more strands you have the more noticeable the hair will be if desired.
Dried Flowers: Whole small flower, completely dried or 2-3 petals of a large flower. These may be crushed unless otherwise discussed. Please ensure to properly preserve and dry these flowers to prevent molding. Proper preservation can be done with silica beads from Amazon.
Soil/Sand: 1 teaspoon. Completely dried.
Umbilical cord stump: 1/8" chunk. Must be completely dry, will likely be ground down.
Encapsulated placenta: 1 pill. I will not receive placenta that has not been professionally encapsulated.
Fabric: Depending on the keepsake ordered, 1" x 1" preferred. Heart Stones will need 2.5" x 2.5".
How do I send my inclusion?
All inclusions MUST be double or even triple bagged. For breast milk inclusions, the first bag must be a breast milk storage bag. Please write your name, order number, and product ordered on all bags in permanent marker.
Once double (or triple!) bagged and labeled, the best way to send your inclusion is in a bubble mailer. These can be purchased from the post office, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Dollar General etc.
Feel free to purchase insurance for your inclusion as I am not responsible for lost, stolen or destroyed items.
Once your package is double bagged, labeled, and placed in a bubble mailer, please ship to the address provided in your personalized email after ordering from Brittany - lovingmemorieskeepsakes@gmail.com. If you need clarification for the shipping address please do not hesitate on sending me an email. My address is no longer listed publicly for personal and safety reasons.
What is the turnaround time for receiving my keepsake?
Current turnaround time is 8-10 weeks. This time frame does not begin until your inclusion has been received by me, checked into my system and you receive a confirmation email that I have done such.
Turnaround time can change based on many variables. I currently do not stock most of my jewelry findings so when you place your order with me, I have to place an order for that jewelry finding so that I can set your precious inclusion stone in it. These findings come from both USA and overseas so customs and shipping delays come into play. If you have not received your inclusion OR an email from me regarding a delay, please feel free to contact me at lovingmemorieskeepsakes@gmail.com and I will respond on my next in office day.
What process do you use to preserve breast milk or milk substitute?
Your breast milk is preserved with a tried and true powder preservation method called Milky Mama Magic Dust developed by Amy McGlade 'The Breastmilk Queen' who created the academy I graduated from to become a certified Breast Milk and DNA Inclusion Artist. This dust preserves milk to prevent yellowing, color fade any many other issues that arise with keepsake pieces.
I didn't breastfeed or no longer have breast milk, can I still have jewelry made?
YES!! That's part of the MAGIC of Milky Mama Magic Dust. I am able to preserve water, cow's milk, formula, soy/almond/oat milk, and of course breast milk into a milky white powder perfect for creating your keepsake. You also always have the option of preserving hair, umbilical cord, dried flowers etc.
What if I don't have enough for the minimum amount needed?
Please contact me! There are ways I can make your inclusions work, but it is per my discretion and needs to be discussed with me first!

What is your return/refund policy?

Loving Memories Keepsakes LLC does not offer full refunds or cancellations of any kind. Each piece takes hours of research, work and materials to craft and create. A partial refund may be offered only at the discretion of Brittany Barritt and Loving Memories Keepsakes LLC and on an individual basis where all other avenues have been explored and only in extreme circumstances.
